The CCES offers presentations and outreach booths to introduce and reinforce important clean sport topics, such as testing, supplements and medications. These activities are run by CCES staff or certified Clean Sport Educators.
All presentations and outreach include information about True Sport, which is a values-based approach to sport that can have a positive and long-term influence on the choices made by athletes, athlete support personnel, and other participants. When clean sport education is rooted in the True Sport values of fairness, excellence, inclusion and fun, sport is more likely to be free of doping, both because participants choose not to dope and because they have the knowledge, tools, and motivation to protect themselves from unintentional doping.

Tailored just for you
By collaborating with you and surveying the athletes and support personnel who will join us, we can customize a session that’s just right for you.
Online or in-person
Is the team together for a training camp? Clean Sport Educators can come to you! If you and the athletes are in different locations, try a webinar on for size!
Ask questions, provide feedback, win prizes
Using interactive tools and technology, connect with live and virtual sessions, join competitions, ask questions, and provide feedback to the presenter, all in real time.
Sample collection process
Many Clean Sport Educators are experienced Doping Control Officers who can show you exactly what to expect!
Connect to your values
Let’s establish up front what’s important to you and what drives you to participate in sport. Chances are, what we talk about will connect directly to those values.
Helpful tools and resources
How do you check the status of a medication, find out what kind of medical exemption you need, or see if a supplement has been batch tested? We can show you!
Why does the CCES offer presentations and webinars?
It’s a different way to learn and interact with clean sport. A well-timed presentation can ensure that athletes and support personnel know what they need to know, when they need to know it.
Build on what you already learned in True Sport Clean, make connections with your values, and better understand how anti-doping rules and requirements will affect your sport experience.
Who are presentations for?
Everyone in the sport community that is currently subject to the Canadian Anti-Doping Program or will be soon!
Past presentation and webinar audiences include:
National teams | Next-Gen and junior athletes | Olympic and Paralympic teams |
Parents and caregivers | Support personnel | International competition athletes |
Professional leagues | University classes | Professional associations |
What do we talk about?
Clean Sport
Consider what it means to have a values-based sport experience and learn about True Sport.
Doping Control
Follow the process of providing urine and blood samples, from notification through post-session administration.
The Prohibited List
Learn the categories of prohibited substances and discover examples of common medications.
Supplements
Learn how to manage the risks of supplements, which can be mislabelled, contaminated, or contain unlisted prohibited ingredients.
Cannabis
Be aware of the risks related to cannabis and CBD products. Cannabis is legal in Canada, but it's still prohibited in sport.
Medical Exemptions
Find out about the process of getting an exemption for the use of a prohibited prescription medication.
That seems like a lot of content for 60 minutes!
It is! Anti-doping is complex, so we make the most important topics easy to understand and link all topics to useful tools and resources. Depending on your audience’s specific needs and interests, we may emphasize some critical topics and reduce our focus on others to make it all fit.
Is there anything else I should know?
We offer presentations and webinars to national sport organizations at no charge, but in-person sessions for other audiences may carry a nominal fee to recover costs. Presentation scheduling is subject to facilitator availability.
